If you are looking for a scenic woodland walk then Leechpool Woods and Owlbeech Woods are lovely areas to explore. They offer a mix of ancient woodlands, wetlands and restored heathlands, which all attract an array of wildlife.

Leechpool Woods

There are two walks on the Sussex Walks app around Leechpool Woods and Owlbeech Woods.

The first is an easy, short wander through the Leechpool Woods where you can explore the network of woodland paths and different habitats.

If you are looking for a slightly longer route, the second walk is 2.5 miles long which starts from the same location but also ventures into Owlbeech Woods with it’s wetland boardwalk and heathlands.
