Haresfield Beacon walk 1
3 miles
A beautiful walk across Haresfield Hill, passing a few points of interest such as Cromwells stone and Haresfield Beacon. There are a few small climbs to get up and down the hills but you will be rewarded with stunning scenery overlooking the plains. This walk is a shorter version of the second walk and cuts back along country lanes.
Haresfield Beacon walk 2
4.25 miles
This second walk is a longer version of the first walk and also includes a visit to Haresfiled Beacon and Cromwells Stone but it also takes you through the magical Standish wood. As with the first walk, there are hills and climbs on this route and wonderful views across the Cotswold Countryside.
Here are a few comments from the Haresfield Beacon walks.
Walk 1 - Always walk at Haresfield with my dog but have never done the second half of this walk. It was awesome. Beautiful views and very easy to follow the app can’t wait to try more walks from the app.
Walk 1 - A really nice, scenic walk, some climbing but nothing major. Our dog was off lead for all of the route apart from the on road section and loved it. There were some cows on the path but we detoured around them. ......Snacks route
Walk 1 - Comfortable walk with outstanding views. Mixed terrain but not too steep. Great coffee van in NT car park.
Walk 2 - Nice walk great views and very dog friendly, only a few cows and sheep in one field and some short bits of road to keep the lead on.
