Some lovely feedback from our Wiltshire walkers...

Wow - what a lovely email we received today! We are so lucky to be able to spend our days working on the Wiltshire walks app, it’s something that we are so passionate about, and something that makes people happy and healthy at the same time! Thanks Carla S, we appreciate your kind words and glorious photos:

"Another lovely walk today - Martinsell Hill. Gotta say, I'm loving this app, I've never had much enthusiasm for walking before, but turns out I've just not been walking in the right places! Until now anyway! Well worth every penny! Thankyou!"

Big thanks to Pete N for sending in these lovely photos from the West Lavington walk where we have two walks on the app. The first is a simple and short 2 mile circular countryside walk from West Lavington up to Strawberry Hill where you can expect lots of fresh air, nice views and a pretty church.

The second is 5.75 miles long and includes open countryside and hilly terrain from West Lavington up into and along the Wessex Ridgeway and The White Horse Trail. Expect a good workout and some great views on this walk.

Also, another big thank you to Lucy C for sending in these beautiful photos from the Spearywell Woods walk.

Again, we have two walks from this location with the first being a short 1 mile woodland stroll around the pretty wood on the Mottisfont Estate.

The second walk is a lot longer at 6.75 miles. Although this walk is also around the Mottisfont Estate, which is just across the border into Hampshire, you can expect lots of woodland, open countryside, riverside walking and a short section of road walking on this rewarding route.

If you're out and about this weekend, please email your walking adventure photos into us on wiltshire@localwalks.co.uk and we may feature them on our Facebook page or on our Local Walks website blog. If you haven’t got the app already, search for 'Wiltshire Walks' on the app store or visit https://www.localwalks.co.uk/wiltshire-walks to find the app.
